Anissa Moore is an independent educational consultant and behavior analyst specializing in the field of early childhood education, autism, ADHD and behavior disorders, and social-emotional learning. Her previous experience includes special ed and early childhood teacher, district and regional ESC coordinator, assistant director for special education, and adjunct professor for Sam Houston State University.  Anissa currently consults as a national presenter and motivational speaker for school districts, educational agencies, and businesses across the US.

She has extensively researched and written handbooks for the Bureau of Education and Research on the topic of student motivation, while training educators and administrators on the critical importance of student and staff motivation post-pandemic. Anissa balances research-based principles with humor and personal experience in all her public speaking topics, encouraging participants to celebrate the gifts of special needs while rediscovering their own motivation to grow as an educator. Anissa lives in the San Antonio, Texas area with her husband and their teenage daughter.
